skills for success
At the International Study Centre, we include CareerAhead activities in our programmes. These are designed to help each student become a confident, highly skilled graduate. CareerAhead provides you with a variety of learning opportunities to familiarise yourself with the world of work and identify your personal strengths and areas for development.
Through a range of activities supported by your teachers, you will:
- develop essential workplace skills such as teamwork, problem solving and communication
- gain an understanding of the world of work
- create your own personal development plan to identify your goals for when you join Marangoni.
With schools in Milano, Firenze, Paris and London, International Study Centre students can experience different locations and culture over the course of their programme. Students return to their studies with new inspiration for an enriched learning experience. These ‘capitals of creativity’ also offer the best job opportunities and experiences to launch an exciting career in fashion.
The careers service at Istituto Marangoni then builds on that support throughout each student’s programme of study. They receive help in connecting with companies offering internships and other opportunities as well as guidance on CV writing and interview techniques. The careers services placed over 500 graduates in many of the most important fashion and design companies in 2016.
